1. Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort

Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort is a small, quiet town surrounded by incredible natural beauty. It’s less than a mile from Elephant Butte State Park – the largest lake in New Mexico. This park has tons of awesome amenities and activities including a fitness room, game room, hot tub, horseshoe pit, indoor pool, and more.

This park is home to many long-term stays, but it still gets a lot of guests because of its unique location and amenities.  Based on the feedback and reviews from the previous guests, this is one of the best RV parks to visit in New Mexico. It’s two hours south of Albuquerque and has a lot to offer. The only downside was the wifi. Some visitors complained about slow or no wifi services at all.

2. High Desert RV Park

High Desert RV Park is located just west of Albuquerque, conveniently located right off I 40. This RV park is known as one of the most friendly and peaceful RV parks. With 75 RV sites and an affordable rate, many visitors to New Mexico stop here. While Albuquerque is the largest city in New Mexico, you won’t feel like you are in a big city here. 

This park has entertainment, and amenities, and is pet-friendly. This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting New Mexico. You’ll also find clean restrooms, showers, pool tables, things to do, and excellent cell phone reception. Don’t forget to try some of the local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in the area. 

3. Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post

Enchanted Trails RV Park is located ten minutes from Old Town Albuquerque.  Visiting the Enchanted Trails parks will provide you with a breathtaking view of the land of enchantment. You will be able to see the beautiful Albuquerque sunset and enjoy the stunning desert views. 

If you want to relax and unwind, but also want to explore the Albuquerque area or enjoy the local dining, this is the place for you. This park offers many amenities like 135 sites and all but 8 are pull-through. It’s perfect for anyone with a large RV or who wants to experience the beauty of the area.

4. Dream Catcher RV Park – Escapees Rainbow Park

Dream Catcher RV Park is located in Deming, New Mexico. It’s one of the best parks to visit in New Mexico. It is also near Rockhound and Poncho Villa State Park. Hikers can walk on the historic walking trail.  And visitors can check out other local attractions including the Gilla Cliff Dwelling National Monument or the St Clair Winery.

Dream Catcher is a great place to park your RV. In addition to the standard amenities, you will enjoy access to a pool so you can cool off when it gets hot, a clubhouse with frequent social activities, and more.

5. Bottomless Lakes State Park

Bottomless Lakes State Park is a hidden gem. This RV park is located in Roswell, NM. The sites here are primitive and include pull-through and back-in. The lake is beautiful, and many visitors claim it’s worth the trip. If you’d like to spend the evening at a unique place, this is it! You can stay right on the lake. As night falls, you’ll get a great view of the stars above New Mexico.
